Over the recent years the field of tissue engineering has created scaffolds to enable 3-D culture of cells resembling more closely in vivo conditions. In addition medical devices, such as wound dressings and catheters have also been developed to improve human well-being. The way in which cells interact with scaffolds and medical devices is crucial to prevent rejection by the body and other adverse reactions. Using our range of cell lines and primary cells, we are able to test for cytotoxicity created by scaffolds or medical devices using MTT, NRU and LDH release assays.
